Before going solo, Sharyl was a founding partner of Hill Walker, LLP for 20 years and, prior to that, was a partner with Best, Best & Krieger. Sharyl started her legal career in California with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Desert Bar Association and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Sharyl was born and raised in upstate New York, and received her B.A. from Colgate University in 1979 and her J.D. and M.B.A. from Cornell University in 1983, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Law Review. She also served as a Judicial Clerk for Chief Judge Samuel King in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.
